1.42 installation

Sorry if this is a silly question, but I couldn't find an answer anywhere: If I install the 1.42 download over 1.41, will it mess up the game that I'm currently playing? There's a lot of cool stuff in that update log, but I can't start from scratch right now!

It should be fully compatible from my experience. The new stuff is just addons so nothing that wasn't listed in the update log should be affected. Of course, since K didn't release source yet I can't say for sure. If you are really worried, you can wait for confirmation with K.

Well, I backed up my override folder and copied the 1.42 pack in, and so far everything seems to be going fine. No telling if I broke something that wasn't obvious, though. My necromancy specialist just scribed all the Power Word spells, though!

The reason for that is because all the Power Word spells are now of the Enchantment school, just like in PnP.
