Getting back to development
We finally hit beta at work so I should be getting somewhat back to normal now. I've still got two worlds 2 to finish and DS3 comes out soon though.
finished ds 3 now
thought it was a steaming pile compared to the sheer perfection of ds2

The major problem was that it basically was a completely different game, not that that's always a bad thing mind you... but instead of having a really "customizable" hero we had in the original ones, you're stuck with choice A or B. And A or B have a few small sub choices you can make, that don't really set you apart from other variations of the same character much at all. Whereas in DS2 you could have widely varying characters.

TOO TRUE
Hopefully it'll get better. on day of release I didn't think much of NWN2 but Kaedrin's superb work, Tony_K's AI and ChainsawXIV + Jake Zahn Complete Craftsman I'm getting hooked on it now. I'm holding out the same hope for DS3 ans Dungeons. Hopefully a modder or group thereof will make the game the company shoud have done in the first place.
