Are there any tutorials for making base classes?

Hello, new guy here. I'm interested in trying to make my own base classes, but all the tutorials I find seem to cover items, modules, and the like. I have fun homebrewing things for my PnP players, and I'd like to try and see what I can come up with in NWN2. What tools do I need to add/modify base or prestige classes, and what are the general do's and dont's? I have the steam version of neverwinter nights 2 platinum (OC, MoTB, SoZ).

I wasn't sure where else to ask, but I really enjoyed playing with Kaedrin's mods and I like the way they blend well with the game, so I figured this would be the place to learn.
