This was me brainstorming as a fun exercise.


Weave Master
Requirements: No ASoC/RW levels
BAB: Low
Saves: Will
Skill Pts: 2
HD: d4
Levels: 5
L1 ability: Evocation Specialist (Evocations gain +1 dmg per class level)
L3 ability: Illusion Specialist (Illusions gain +1 DC per class level)
L5 ability: Shape Magic (spells no longer affect non-hostiles)
5/5 spellcasting progression in any class


Spellblade
Requirements: No EK levels, Martial
BAB: High
Saves: Fort, Will
Skill Pts: 2
HD: d8
Levels: 5
-5% ASF per class level
3/5 spellcasting progression in any arcane/invocation class


Chaotic Wilder
Requirements: 10 Spellcraft
BAB: Low
Saves: Fort, Will
Skill Pts: 4
HD: d8
Levels: 5
No spellcasting progression, adds 5% ASF per class level
Class abilities ignore spell resistance, have a 50% chance to ignore damage resistance, and a save vs d10 * Class level DC for half dmg.
L1 Ability: Touch of Chaos - melee touch attack deals (2*class level)d10 of a random element (fire, elec, acid, cold, positive, negative, divine, slashing, blunt, piercing).
L2 Ability: Lash of Chaos - ranged touch attack that deals (class level)d10 of a random element (see Touch)
L3 Ability: Breath of Chaos - 60' cone blast that deals (class level)d10 of a random element (see Touch)
L4 Ability: Howl of Chaos - PBAE that deals (class level)d12 of a random element (see Touch)
L5 Ability: Burst of Chaos - Ranged sphere that deals (class level)d8 of a random element
ranged bolt, melee touch, PBAE, and ranged sphere

Battle Mage
Requirements: 10 Spellcraft
BAB: None
Saves: Will
Skill Pts: 2
HD: d4
Levels: 5
5/5 Arcane/Invocation progression
ASF penalty doubled
Shield spell provides +1 AC for each class level
May cast magic missile at will (d3 missiles per class level)

Master Healer
Requirements: 10 Healing
BAB: Medium
Saves: Will
Skill Pts: 4
HD: d6
Levels: 5
No spellcasting progression
Cure spells gain a bonus equal to 3x class level
Regen spells gain +1 at each odd class level
Gains regen equal to class level

Wild Summoner
Requirements: 10 Survival
BAB: Medium
Saves: Will
Skill Pts: 6
HD: d4
Levels: 5
5/5 Druid *and* Ranger progression
Your summon spells gain an enhance bonus to weapons, armor, and deflection equal to your class level.
No wildshape/companion progression.

I like the battle mage,
curious if it can cast empowered or maximized magic missiles at will as well or if its just regular ones.

Weave Master and Battlemage both sound like fun options for focusing an Arcane character in either direction. Although I'm mostly still looking forward to running through the OC as a Hexblade once it's released.

Definitely like the weave master (don't see enough illusionist casters Wink ) Although one id really like to see (mainly because nwn2 didn't even include it as a base prc...) is the pnp version of the shifter for druids. And since it would be an entirely custom class, it might be possible to fix some of the issues that currently plague shape changing druids on pws.

Once I release the 1.41.4 update (which is mostly fixes) I'll be hammering out the Hexblade to be the centerpiece for 1.42.
