The Dervish

Someone already made a post about this a while back (1 post), but no one had replied to it.
In pnp, the dervish gains an ability to use scimitars as a light weapon. Some people from LOA said that creating a light, dervish-only scimitar (that still functioned as a scimitar for things like weapon focus or champion of the wild) was possible.
What do you think?

It's not possible. New weapons are not recognized by the engine for finessing.

I believe a workaround, like a script that checks if you have Weapon Finesse and a Scimitar equipped and then adds the Dexterity modifier to AB, should be possible. It should work similarly to Intuitive Strike right?

Except it's limited by the +20 cap and most builds will hit that before their teens. Not worth the effort/bugs/angst.
